Breathing

Today in TP we had a special visitor. Her name is Carmen and she is a nurse. She works with people to help with there feelings and thoughts. 


We spent some time talking about what feelings are, what happens when we feel things inside our bodies and how we can help our bodies calm down if we are worried or angry.

We had to lie down on the floor on our backs like this. 


We had to put our hands behind our heads or on our tummies. We had to bring in through our nose and out through our mouth.


We felt very relaxed after it.

  1. We are going to try this in Room 6 at Park Estate School so we can be calm. Has staying calm helped your learning?

    1. Hi Room 6! We hope you do try the breathing. We think it does help us with our learning. Lots of us have been practising because it is important to practise before you actually need it. We hope you have fun! From TP at Yaldhurst
